Chemical Service Award

There are a considerable number of chemists - members of the RACI - who make substantial contributions to chemistry, and, especially to the progress of the profession over a period of many years. To provide recognition of these contributions, the RACI has initiated an award entitled “Chemical Service Award”.

About the award

This award recognises substantial contributions to Chemistry and especially to the progress of the profession over a period of many years. The award requires nomination by a Branch, Division, or two full members of the RACI.

The candidate is required to be a current member for a minimum of 5 years.

As part of the nomination/application we will required the email and telephone contacts of two RACI members who know the nominee personally and are prepared to act as referees.

Please prepare your application/submission on a single PDF document summarising the outcomes and impact of work as a professional chemist and/or contributions to the profession and the RACI.

After the closing date, no further nominations for the award shall be accepted.

If in the opinion of the Board there is no candidate who has sufficient merit, the Board may refrain from making an award. The decision of the Board is final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.

The RACI National Awards are open from 1 April to 30 June.
During this time, you are invited to submit applications below.
